WORKSHOPS

Designed for beginners using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera that are looking to enhance their photography skills. 

This workshop combines a morning indoor session where we will get familiar with your camera settings and the theory of the exposure triangle. Our afternoon session will be outdoors where we will put our mornings learing into practice. 

By the end of this workshop you will understand "the exposure triangle" and will be able to capture an image in manual mode!!

Long-exposure photography is when you take a photo over a prolonged period of time and will create blur within the image. Traditionally it is used for water or clouds, or even to remove people from images. This effect is created by using neutral density filters that are attached to the front of the cameras lens. 

This is a "hands on" practicle learning, set in Waterfall Country (Ystradfellte), the stunning cluster of waterfalls in the southwestern corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park. 

We visit several locations in the stunning "Bannau Brycheiniog". We will explore composition, rule of thirds, leading lines and an insight into long exposure photography.

This is a "hands on" practicle learning, set in the landscape of the Brecon Beacons.

Mentoring is a longer term commitment to your photographic journey.

My mentoring programme will allow us to work together to develop your creative vision. Each session will be tailored to provide you with the techniques needed to produce stunning images and will enable you to build the knowledge and confidence to take your photography to the next level, regardless of your experience.

14 night stay on the Falkland Islands, with time spent between Port Stanley, Pebble Island, Sea Lion Island and Bleaker Island. You cant visit the Falklands without photographing the King Penguin colony at Volunteer Point and we will make two visits.
