Landscapes

 

My main focus has been landscape photography and I am lucky to live in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog).

One of my favourite aspects of landscape photography is being able to capture the beauty of nature, whether it’s a majestic waterfall, serene woodland scene, a stunning sunrise or sunset.

Planning a landscape photography shoot is pretty meticulous, checking sun movements, weather forecast for the day, browsing maps and satellite imagery to give me as much knowledge of the location before I arrive.

Using a variety of camera techniques to enhance the the scene, including long-exposure photography, a technique that takes advantage of slow shutter speeds to create creative and unique looking imagery.
